When will I receive confirmation of my new apartment address and roommates?

We plan to have everyone confirmed and arrival instructions sent 10-14 days prior to your arrival.  

How are roommates matched?

Roommates are matched based on gender and arrival dates. If you have specific preferences or requests, let us know. 

What is included in the housing package? Will I need to bring my own linens and towels?

To view a complete list of what's included in your housing package please visit the “what’s included” page. You will not need to bring your own linens and towels, however, you may do so if you are more comfortable using your own linens.

What is the check-in process?

Specific details for your check-in process will be provided in your confirmation email and "Welcome Letter", which you will receive 10-14 days prior to your arrival.   

Is parking included in the rental?

Parking is specific to each community.  Please let us know if you will be bringing a car in the roommmate survey submission.  

I have a concern about my apartment or roommate, who should I call?

Should you have a question or concern about your apartment, please call your National Corporate Housing representative right away. Our job is to support you throughout your internship and make sure you are as comfortable as possible. You can reach your NCH representative via 757-430-1893 or [email protected].

I need to report a maintenance request and/or damaged item, who should I call?

For all emergencies requiring police, fire or medical attention please dial 911. For all other maintenance requests, contact your National Corporate Housing representative right away so we can address it. Please note that we will grant the maintenance staff permission to enter your apartment to assess and/or repair all maintenance requests. For after-hours emergencies please call 757-430-1893 and follow prompts. You may also submit a maintenance request via the online portal at the bottom of the home screen.

I’d like to invite a guest over, is this okay?

Having guests over is a common luxury all of us like to enjoy. Please take a moment to review our house rules page as overnight guests are not allowed.

I locked myself out, what should I do?

Call one of your roommates or your National representative 757-430-1893 right away. In some cases, there will be additional charges to have someone let you into your apartment after hours.

I received a notice or mail not addressed to me, what should I do?

Should you receive a notice or mail addressed to National Corporate Housing in error, please let your National representative know right away so we can address it. Should you receive mail addressed to another tenant, as a courtesy, please write “return to sender/not at the address” on the envelope and leave it in your mailbox for the mail carrier.

What is NOT covered under the housing package?

Your apartment will have a Smart TV included in the furnishings package.  Cable and  streaming services are not provided.  All damages and incidentals are the responsibility of the interns residing in the apartment.

I would like to extend my stay, who should I call?

Should you need to extend your stay beyond  the conclusion of your internship, please contact your National Corporate Housing representative as soon as possible. We will make every possible effort to accommodate your extension.

What are my move-out instructions?

Check out time is noon. Please return all keys, fobs, and remotes to the leasing office in the envelope provided with your name and apartment number labeled clearly. Please note that there is a $150 charge for all unreturned keys. Detailed move out instructions will be provided a week before your departure date.
