Guam. Guam

As the region's most populated island, Guam is about as cosmopolitan as Micronesia gets. The island is small enough to explore in a a few days. The southern part is not to be missed, with its kaleidoscope of quiet, historic villages, pristine waterfalls and postcard beaches. The north is primarily used for the US military's Andersen Base, but does contain a sublime stretch of coast with azure water and golden sands.
