Bellevue. Washington

Bellevue, which lies on the eastern side of Lake Washington, is an upscale neighborhood with attractive parks and attractive shops and boutiques. Social life centers on Bellevue Sq, at Bellevue Way NE and NE 8th St, the mall that sets the tone for downtown and the surrounding areas. Across from the mall is the  Art Museum, which features revolving exhibits of contemporary Northwest-style art. 

North of Bellevue is Kirkland, well-known in the area for its lakefront central business district, marinas and vintage shopping venues. Some of the best public access to Lake Washington is along Lake Ave where many waterfront restaurants can be found, some with docks for customers who arrive by boat. East of Kirkland lies Redmond, the center of Seattle's high-tech industry, reachable by taking Hwy 520 over the Evergreen Point Bridge.
